First Class Weddings is the only wedding company that interviews its vendors prior to hiring them. For over a decade we have maintained working relationships with the very best in the field. In addition, we continuously review the work and performance of those we work with to ensure the outstanding service that our clients deserve. We are so confident in our team that we guarantee their work.

Certified

The wedding coordinating industry standards are not regulated in the state of Hawaii. However, First Class Weddings leads by example of what a wedding & event planning company should be. We are fully insured and are Members of the Maui Visitors Bureau, Hawaii Visitors Bureau, and The Who’s Who of business professionals.

Our Staff

Tammy

Tammy has been planning events for over 20 years. She is a recipient of Pacific Business News 2002 "Women Who Mean Business" top 25 women owned business award. She has featured a wedding on The Travel Channel and has released The Best of Hawaii Wedding Book which can be found in stores across the nation.

Jane

Born and raised on Maui, Jane is the quintessential "island girl." With a degree in Culinary Arts and Food and Beverage Management from the Art Institute of San Diego California, Jane has had the opportunity to explore the world of the restaurateur. Upon returning home, she quickly realized that her time spent in the kitchen was valuable time spent away from the things she loved about Maui, the outdoors. Her new offices (all of the amazing outdoor wedding locations) are much more agreeable.

Lena

Lena was born and raised on the Big Island (Hawaii) and at the tender age of 9 years old, her family moved to Paris, France where she then lived for almost 10 years. While in France, Lena worked for a Parisian Haute Couture fashion designer coordinating his fashion shows and castings. Upon returning to Hawaii, Lena pursued a degree in Communication and French at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Since moving to Maui in 2004, Lena has found yet another passion in wedding coordination.

Jackie

As a wedding coordinator with First Class Weddings, Jackie helps to creates romantic settings that are in line with the exact wishes of her clients. Her goal is to create a flawless day for each and every one of the couples she works with. When you work with Jackie, she takes your wedding seriously and commits to every aspect of it as if it were her own. She will see to the every need of the couple and guests from the beginning of the planning process to the last dance.
